Cleveland Clinic Martin North Hospital is a fully integrated medical campus that includes diagnostic centers, outpatient surgery and a 24-hour emergency department located in the state-of-the-art hospital. Cleveland Clinic Martin North Hospital is part of the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic, a nonprofit, multispecialty, academic medical center that integrates clinical and hospital care with research and education. Interventional Radiology is dedicated to the development and application of imaging to guide minimally invasive techniques utilized in diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of conditions. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist at Martin North Hospital, you will aid in diagnostic and clinical procedures. Using your training and advanced knowledge, you will perform various imaging techniques, ensuring accuracy and clarity in detecting pathologies. In this role, you will gain ample experience, resources to learn and grow and encouragement as you find your place within the Cleveland Clinic system and make a difference in the lives of patients every day. A caregiver in this position works Monday-Thursday from 6:30AM – 5:00PM. Flexibility to support occasional Friday coverage or extended shifts based on the Department needs is needed.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
  • Registered through the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT)
  • Florida license as a General Radiographer (RAD)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of experience as an Imaging Technologist in an acute care imaging setting
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties involved with various technical procedures to detect pathology.
  • Perform routine imaging, emergent, invasive and special procedures.
  • Improve patient care and workflows by providing support, education and assistance to patients and caregivers.
  • Safely operate equipment and maintain standards while performing procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and economical operation.
  • Coordinate and answer questions regarding scheduling, patient information, networking and informatics.
  • Document in chart upon completion of procedures.
  • Complete and send electronic data.
  • Provide copies of imaging studies.
  • Inspect equipment to ensure proper orientation and contact service if necessary.
  • Maintain adequate supplies in the work area with items necessary to perform the daily schedule.
