As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will provide assistance with diagnostic and clinical procedures. Using your training and advanced knowledge, you will perform various imaging techniques, ensuring accuracy and clarity in detecting pathologies. In this role, you will gain ample experience, resources to learn and grow and encouragement as you find your place within the Cleveland Clinic system and make a difference in the lives of patients every day. A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM - 4:30PM, with on-call and weekend requirements.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
  • Registered through the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Florida license as a General Radiographer (RAD)

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of experience as an Imaging Technologist in an acute care imaging setting
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties involved with various technical procedures to detect pathology.
  • Perform routine imaging, emergent, invasive and special procedures.
  • Improve patient care and workflows by providing support, education and assistance to patients and caregivers.
  • Safely operate equipment and maintain standards while performing procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and economical operation.
  • Coordinate and answer questions regarding scheduling, patient information, networking and informatics.
  • Document in chart upon completion of procedures.
  • Complete and send electronic data.
  • Provide copies of imaging studies.
