It is the flagship hospital for Corewell Health Grand Rapids Hospitals. Scope of work Provides health care services, utilizing imaging technology to assist in diagnosis or interventional procedures. Performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by, or at the request of, a licensed practitioner. Scrubs in with the interventional physician and practices sterile technique, prepares the sterile tray with the appropriate supplies and assists the physician with procedures, have a knowledge of all of the supplies needed by the physician to perform interventions. Charges and tracks all supplies properly. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Receives and ensures the execution of physician orders and actively participates in the satisfaction of patients and all customers.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree
  • CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
  • 2 Yrs required
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 Days of hire required

Responsibilities
