About The Position

Overview: Schedule: Monday to Friday Primarily Day Shift, with some variance as per business needs Evening, overnight, and weekend call and holiday rotation required Job Description Summary: Manages and supervises specialty radiology procedures, ensuring quality and safety standards are met while maintaining a positive patient experience. Job Description: Essential Functions: Supervises and coordinates the daily operations of the radiology IR team. Assigns tasks and delegates responsibilities to team members. Monitors and evaluates the performance of team members. Monitors the quality of IR procedures and ensures that they meet the required standards. Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care. Ensures compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care. Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment, and orders as needed. Ensures that the radiology equipment is properly maintained and functioning. Trains new team members on IR procedures and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology, required.
  • Active Status with the Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, required.
  • Valid “R” category Ohio Radiological License, required.
  • CPR certification, required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Five years of clinical Radiology experience, required.
  • Three years of experience with Interventional or similar procedures, required.

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric experience, preferred.
