About The Position

Located in northwest Arizona, Kingman has a mild climate with stunning Arizona sunsets! The position involves working under the direction of the radiologist and the Arizona State Nurse Practice Act to provide nursing care to patients in compliance with nursing standards and regulations. The nurse will utilize the nursing process to make continuing assessments of the patient’s total health needs, implement nursing interventions based on assessment data, develop and implement the nursing plan of care, and evaluate the patient’s response. The role requires striving to provide excellent patient care with compassion, tact, cheerfulness, accuracy, patience, flexibility in scheduling, calmness in emergency situations, and the ability to work well with team members, receiving and applying feedback from peers and superiors. Additionally, the nurse will assist with the orientation of new staff to the unit as requested.

Requirements

  • Interventional Radiology RN.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school’s Diploma program.
  • Current, valid Arizona RN license or compact state RN license.
  • Current BLS (CPR) and ACLS certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an RN or equivalent patient care experience.
  • Able to complete Orientation Checklist consisting of Charge RN role, IR Clinic/Consult and follow up, Primary Call RN, and Code leader role.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN is preferred.
  • Experience working in respective clinical area is desired.
  • Continuing education for Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred every two years.
  • CCU, ICU, or ED experience preferred.
  • Basic EKG competency upon hire.
