About The Position

Radiology Associates of Florida, a Radiology Partners practice, is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their group in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate would be comfortable seeing patients in the in-patient setting and performing new patient consultations as well as post-operative rounding alongside current APPs and IR Residents. Secondary responsibility will be performing occasional minor bedside procedures as well as performing H&P, pre-operative assessments, and pre-procedure order placement for outpatients scheduled for same-day, in-hospital procedures. This position works exclusively with Interventional Radiology section of the local RP practice at Tampa General Hospital. The IR group currently has three APPs, numerous IR residents and 8 full time IR faculty with history at this institution for over 30 years. TGH is an 1100 bed quaternary teaching hospital located on the water in downtown Tampa and the major teaching hospital for University of South Florida medical students and residents. Requirements

  • Current NP/PA license and certificate of authority to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the State of Florida required
  • Board certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
  • BLS AND ACLS certification required
