About The Position
Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to support a high-acuity IR department. This role requires strong procedural skills, the ability to respond to emergent cases, and flexibility to participate in both scheduled procedures and on-call coverage.
Requirements
- Current certification/licensure appropriate for IR Technologist role
- Prior Interventional Radiology experience required
- Strong understanding of sterile technique and procedural workflow
- Ability to work independently and in high-pressure environments
- Willingness to participate in weeknight and weekend call
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile procedural environment
- Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment safely and effectively
- Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond to changes in condition
- Administer contrast per protocol and scope of practice
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards
- Document procedures accurately and thoroughly
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency and after-hours procedures
