About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in Minneapolis, MN. This is an auto-offer position for qualified candidates. The ideal technologist will have strong inpatient IR experience and the ability to work across multiple acute care environments, supporting complex image-guided procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience (HARD STOP)
• Experience working in: Inpatient settings, Operating Room (OR), Emergency Room (ER), Interventional Radiology departments
• First-time travelers accepted
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (Radiography)
• Pending state license accepted
• Extremities (upper and lower)
• Abdomen / Gastrointestinal
• Spine / Pelvis
• Head
• Chest / Thorax

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures in an inpatient setting
• Prepare and position patients for IR and diagnostic X-ray procedures
• Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment in accordance with safety standards
• Maintain sterile technique while scrubbing and circulating as required
• Support procedures in the Operating Room and Emergency Room as needed
• Ensure accurate patient identification, documentation, and image quality
• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and departmental protocols
• Participate in on-call coverage as required
