About The Position

Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist for a short-term acute care hospital setting. The technologist will support a busy inpatient and procedural environment, assisting with a wide range of interventional and diagnostic procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
• Experience in inpatient, operating room, emergency department, and IR settings
• X-ray procedure experience including: Extremities (upper & lower) Abdomen/GI Spine/Pelvis Head Chest/Thorax
• IR / Angio / Special procedures experience including: Angiograms, angioplasty, and stent placement Vascular and venous access procedures Drainages and nephrograms Abdomen, pelvic, genitourinary, and peripheral studies Neurological and vascular studies
• BLS – Required
• ARRT – Required
• Pending state license accepted

Responsibilities

• Support interventional radiology procedures in inpatient, operating room, ER, and IR suite settings
• Assist physicians during angiographic and interventional procedures
• Ensure proper patient positioning, radiation safety, and sterile technique
• Maintain accurate documentation using the facility’s EMR system
• Manage daily procedural workflow with an average caseload of approximately 9 patients per day
