About The Position

Our interventional radiology group is looking to have an advanced practice provider join their group. This position would cover inpatient rounding, consults, and clinic for interventional radiology at our Saint Luke's north and south locations. This APP will also perform procedures. This position is Monday through Friday. There is no weekend or call requirement.

Requirements

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• Advanced Practice Provider certification.
• Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Master's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist in the performance of procedures that are documented in the CPA or PASA and consistent with the education, training, and experience of both the APP and their collaborating physician.
• Be familiar with pre-, intra-, post-, and recovery of various procedures including portacath placement/removal, temporary dialysis catheter placement or removal, abscess drains, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, nephrostomy tube placement/exchange, and more.
• Accountable for advanced nursing practice in the care of assigned patient populations.
• Responsible for collecting and analyzing client health data, identifying appropriate expected outcomes, developing and implementing plan of care.
• Provide comprehensive clinical coordination of care and case management.
• Provide consultation to influence plan of care for clients.
• Enhance the abilities of others and effect change in the system.
• Use prescriptive authority procedures and treatments in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Evaluate clients' progress in attaining expected outcomes.
• Conduct nursing research.
• Provide education to patient family and nursing staff.
• Case manage high risk patients.
