About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an Interventional Radiologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx . Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. To this day, Jacobi and NCB remain respected leaders in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health. Opportunity Details: Perform a wide range of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures using fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans. Conduct pre-procedure consultations and post-procedure follow-ups to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Operate and manage advanced imaging equipment while maintaining safety and quality standards. Maintain accurate and compliant patient documentation. Participate in emergency interventional procedures, as needed. Provide expert consultation on complex cases. Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and case discussions. Educate patients and families on procedures, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes. Supervise and train Residents and Fellows, fostering a collaborative and educational work environment.

Requirements

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology
  • Completion of an Interventional Radiology fellowship
  • Active New York medical license

Responsibilities

Benefits

  • Annual Base Salary: $468,750 (board eligible); $520,250 (board certified) based on 40-hour work week.
  • Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
  • The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $674,750 (board eligible) and $726,250 (board certified) , which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
  • Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $130,000.
  • Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
