Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Interventional Radiology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Grass Valley, CA • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: Apr 27, 2026 - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Shifts needed to be filled: - Apr 27 - May 1 - May 25-29 - Ongoing • Shift Schedule: 8a-430p • Call Schedule: Nights & weekends • Patient Volume: 85-90 (ED); 50 (IP/Obs/ICU) - CTs: 12-15 - X-rays: 15-20 - US: 8-12 - IR: 4-6 procedures • Admissions: 12-15 • Case Mix: Surgical, Medical, ICU & OB • Support Staff: - Diagnostic Imaging (Radiology) Nurses & Techs • Required Procedures: - Lumbar punctures, barium studies, various centesis exams w/ drains & CT/US biopsies preferred. - IR (Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Nephrostomy Tubes, Intra-abdominal abscess drainage, Chest Tubes, Suprapubic Catheters); Biopsies (Thyroid, Lung, Others) • EMR: Cerner • Travel, lodging and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements
- Active CA License
- BC/BE
- Fellowship
- DEA
- BLS
- CA Fluoroscopy
- Must have the required skills
- Self-Query NPDB report (extracted in the last 30 days)
