About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Health in Greater Austin Region is seeking a BE/BC interventional radiologist to develop and expand interventional radiology services. Practice Overview Baylor Scott & White Health in the greater Austin, TX region is seeking a BE/BC interventional radiologist to join a well-established team for further expansion. The candidate would join a growing division of diagnostic and interventional radiologists, currently supporting four hospitals and multiple outpatient imaging facilities in the Austin metro area. Current interventional radiology work includes the full spectrum of interventional radiology including interventional oncology, endovascular (venous and arterial) procedures, UFE, PAE. The preferred candidate will also help grow additional service lines. On-site coverage is provided to multiple hospitals throughout the region. Outpatient IR clinic services are provided at all covered facilities. Service is additionally supported by 2 APPs. Some interpretation of vascular diagnostic imaging will be required. Requirements

  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine
  • Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
  • Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists

Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand interventional radiology services
  • Join a growing division of diagnostic and interventional radiologists, currently supporting four hospitals and multiple outpatient imaging facilities in the Austin metro area.
  • Perform the full spectrum of interventional radiology including interventional oncology, endovascular (venous and arterial) procedures, UFE, PAE.
  • Help grow additional service lines.
  • Provide on-site coverage to multiple hospitals throughout the region.
  • Provide Outpatient IR clinic services at all covered facilities.
  • Some interpretation of vascular diagnostic imaging will be required.
