About The Position
The Department of Radiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiologist to join our clinical faculty on the non-tenure clinical track. Appointment rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. This position offers the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive interventional radiology practice within an academic medical center while contributing to the department’s missions in patient care and education.
Requirements
- Hold an M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.
- Hold or be eligible to obtain a medical license in the State of Florida.
- Additionally, the selected candidate must obtain IR/DR certification within one (1) year of the start date.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred candidate will have completed an ACGME-accredited Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship or an ACGME-accredited IR/DR Residency.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive interventional radiology patient care
- Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students
- Participate in scholarly activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams
- Contribute to the development and adoption of emerging interventional procedures and techniques within the practice
