The Interventional Radiologic Technologist performs invasive radiographic procedures at an intermediate skills level. This position is PRN/Per Diem, with a varied schedule during day shifts. The technologist will work under the direct supervision of a physician and will be responsible for administering intravenous contrast media, recognizing complications, and scrubbing with the physician as required. The role also involves scheduling cases, positioning and transferring patients, and practicing radiation safety procedures. The technologist will be on call, train new staff, and maintain written documentation as required by the profession and department. Additionally, the technologist will perform duties as a Radiographer as needed.
