Requirements

• Associate's degree Applied Science Req Or Other completion of accredited program in cardiovascular technology
• Must obtain RCIS within 6 months of hire Req Or
• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent 2 Years work experience in invasive cardiology Req
• Experience 1 Year vascular or cardiac angiography Pref or 2 Years required with high school diploma Req
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire Req
• GMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologist If ARRT Only Upon Hire Pref
• RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Obtain within 6 months if graduate from Cardiovascular Accredited Program Upon Hire Req
• LMRT - Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist If RCIS Only Upon Hire Pref
• RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist For Electrophysiology Labs (EP) Only Upon Hire Req
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Req

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in trauma or neuro interventional procedures preferred.
