About The Position

Overview Central Maine Heart and Vascular seeks Radiology Technologists (Rad Tech, IR Tech) for our specialty labs. The Opportunity: This position encompasses working with experienced team members, Interventional Cardiologists, Electrophysiologists, and Vascular Surgeons in a hospital setting. The Radiological Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Provides direct and indirect supervision of Radiologic Technology students. Participates in CQI activities. Participates in on call, weekend and holiday schedules. Requirements

  • Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • State of Maine Radiologic Technologist License
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • ARRT certification.
  • Licensed by the state of Maine to practice and administer radiation.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required. Renewal due within one month of expiration.

  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
