About The Position

The position involves performing imaging procedures using Toshiba scanners and assisting physicians with various cardiac procedures including Heart Catheterizations, Angioplasty procedures with stents, and Structural heart procedures such as TAVR, PFO Closures, Watchman, and Mitra Clip. The role also includes the insertion of IABP, Impella, and ECMO, as well as peripheral procedures.

Requirements

• Satisfactory completion/enrollment of formal imaging training in an AMA approved school
• Meet requirements for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist and/or New York State Department of Health License
• Maintain knowledge of all stages of human development
• Participate in orientation and continuing education
• Complete population specific competency annually on populations served

• Demonstrated mechanical and/or electrical dexterity and ability
