Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a part time Interventional Physiatrist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan.   • Performs minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat pain and musculoskeletal conditions, especially those affecting the axial spine.
  • Educates resident physicians and provides exposure to type and volume of interventional procedures necessary for residents to graduate from the PM&R training program.
  • Evaluates patients upon follow up to determine effectiveness of interventional treatments, need for additional consultations, etc.
  • Consults with other members of the professional staff.
  • Candidates must be board eligible or board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
  • Annual Base Salary: $105,892.50* (board eligible); $109,077.67* (board certified) based on 21-hour work week.
  • Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
  • Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
  • Projected bonus of up to $21,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
  • 401(k) Company Contribution: Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings.
