About The Position

UNC Health is currently recruiting for an Interventional Cardiologist, based at our UNC Health Nash location in Rocky Mount. Responsibilities will include interventional cardiology procedures, taking STEMI call, echocardiographic interpretation, performing inpatient consults, and outpatient cardiology. Requirements

• Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease
• Board Certified/Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Wide range of skills in interventional cardiology procedures
• At least level 2 echo training
• Level 2 stress test interpretation
• Interest in inpatient and outpatient cardiology
• Interest in building a referral practice
• Willingness to have a busy outpatient practice
• Commitment to good patient outcomes
• Record as a team player and a program builder

Nice To Haves

• Ability to perform peripheral vascular interventions
