Requirements

Board certification/board eligibility in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology
Completion of an accredited fellowship program in interventional cardiology.
State medical licensure or eligibility for licensure in Florida

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic procedures including cardiac catheterization, angiography, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), and fractional flow reserve (FFR) to evaluate the severity and extent of cardiovascular diseases.
Conduct a wide range of interventional procedures such as percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), coronary angioplasty, stent placement, atherectomy, and structural heart interventions (e.g., transcatheter aortic valve replacement - TAVR, transcatheter mitral valve repair - TMVR).
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions, providing pre-procedure counseling, procedural care, and post-procedure follow-up.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
Adhere to established clinical guidelines, protocols, and quality assurance measures to ensure the safety, efficacy, and quality of interventional procedures.
Participate in educational activities, research endeavors, and quality improvement initiatives
