About The Position

Austin Heart is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join the largest cardiology group in Central Texas, focusing on interventional cardiology. The role involves primarily inpatient work with an emphasis on structural heart disease, under the supervision of an interventional cardiologist. The position offers flexible scheduling options and the opportunity to work in a high-performing cardiovascular facility.

Requirements

• Board certified ACNP or PA.
• Licensed in the state of Texas.
• Cardiology experience preferred.
• Strong background in EHR.
• High-level organizational and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in structural heart disease.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including PRN, Part-Time, or Full-Time.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient histories and perform examinations.
• Order testing and develop treatment plans.
• Monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.
• Provide patient education under the direction of the supervising cardiologist.
