Interventional Cardiologist Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Interventional Cardiology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Paducah, KY • Service Setting: Inpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Call Only • Call Coverage: EMTALA Call • Call schedule: 24-hr call; 7a-7a - 3-7 days/month • Patient Demographics: Adults • Physician in Group: 2 • Procedures: - Balloon and Coronary Angioplasty - Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) - Heart Catheterization, Coronary Angiograms • Duties/Responsibilities: - Expected to respond to ALL cardiology calls - General Cardiology consults as needed - Reading Studies to include EKG, ECHOS, and Stress tests • EMR: Epic Cupid • Other Interventional Cardiologists be Present During our Locum's Coverage? Yes • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements
- Active KY License or IMLC
- BC
- DEA
- ACLS
- COVID Vaccine
- Self-Query NPDB report
Responsibilities
- Respond to ALL cardiology calls
- General Cardiology consults as needed
- Reading Studies to include EKG, ECHOS, and Stress tests
