Interventional Cardiologist (MD/DO) - MUSC Health - Columbia & Orangeburg, SC
About The Position
MUSC Health - Columbia Medical Center Downtown is seeking a full-time BC/BE Interventional Cardiology physician for a well-established, nationally ranked heart and vascular practice located in Columbia, South Carolina. Ideal candidates will have experience performing angioplasty and stenting, atherectomy, embolic protection, percutaneous valve repair, and balloon angioplasty. This year, U.S. News & World Report ranked MUSC Health - Columbia Medical Center Downtown as High Performing in the treatment of Heart Attack and Heart Failure. We invite you to join a hardworking team of 22 cardiologists, 2 cardiovascular surgeons, and 18 cardiology APPs to provide advanced treatment and personalized care to patients in Columbia, SC, and the surrounding communities. About the position: 25-35 patients per day 1:07 call schedule on weekdays, 1:10 on weekends Access to cardiac CT, MRI, 3D Echo, PET and SPECT equipment, electrophysiology equipment, and a cath lab on site Dedicated group of providers promoting teamwork, efficiency and excellent patient care Well-respected Heart & Vascular practice with a 40-year history in the community Quick ramp-up time with excellent local marketing and outreach support
Requirements
- BC/BE Interventional Cardiology physician
- experience performing angioplasty and stenting
- experience performing atherectomy
- experience performing embolic protection
- experience performing percutaneous valve repair
- experience performing balloon angioplasty
