About The Position

BJC Medical Group has a Cardiology opportunity based at Parkland Health Center located in Farmington, MO, a little over an hour from St. Louis, Missouri. This position is J1 eligible through the DRA. We have sponsored J1s for this location with 100% success rate. Practice Details: Cardiology Department consists of 3 Interventionalists and 2 Invasive Cardiologists. Cardiac catheterization, PCI, Cardio MEMS, endovascular and peripheral vascular cases. Device/pacemaker implantations would be a plus. New Cath Lab. EPIC EMR. Shared call schedule of 1:5 - No Stemi Call.

Requirements

• Doctorate - Medicine
• 2-5 years of experience
• Licensed Physician

Responsibilities

• Manages the medical care of assigned patients.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and members of the health care team to ensure excellent clinical outcomes.
• Performs and documents histories and physicals in the patient's medical record as required by hospital by-laws.
• Supervises and instructs medical students and residents assigned to service.
• Assists in the learning needs of residents and students as assessed.
