About The Position

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is seeking candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about both clinical practice and education in the field of interventional cardiology. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in teaching medical students, residents, and cardiovascular fellows, imparting knowledge and skills related to interventional procedures. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the position entails significant clinical duties. The Assistant Professor will provide care to patients in an outpatient setting, conduct inpatient consultations, and perform cardiac catheterization procedures in the hospital procedural labs at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, as well as at affiliated satellite clinics and hospitals. Candidates must possess the training and capability to independently perform both coronary and peripheral interventions, demonstrating proficiency in all aspects of diagnosis and therapeutic cardiac catheterization procedures.
