Stafford’s “All-In” Tutoring Plan prioritizes student academic needs in grades 3-5 to include those who were unsuccessful at mastering content as demonstrated by their performance on previous state Standards of Learning (SOL) assessments and those who are identified as “at risk” by their teachers or through performance on various screeners and assessments. The Intervention Specialist role requires a diverse skill set and a deep understanding of educational practices and student needs. Under the supervision of the school principal, the Intervention Specialist will coordinate services to students identified by the school administration to mitigate learning loss and accelerate students to on-grade-level instruction.
