About The Position
The Intervention Specialist - RTI position involves teaching and instructing students in academic subject matter, social, behavioral, and other educational or related skill areas under the supervision of the Principal and/or Assistant Principal. The role includes planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and assessing a comprehensive educational program for students, while creating a supportive and flexible environment conducive to learning and personal growth according to each student's ability and interests. The position encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. The Gifted Education Facilitator role focuses on collaborating with general education teachers, support specialists, and administrators to identify, plan for, and serve gifted learners, ensuring they reach their potential through direct and indirect support.
