Description Qualifications Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure. Counseling endorsement. Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area, is preferred but not required. Experience Teaching experience in the above mentioned areas Knowledge of best instructional practices Ability to integrate technology Experience in educational and instructional leadership Responsibilities Ability to communicate and work effectively with principal, staff and parents. Ability and willingness to work as a team member with special education and general education staff. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to compromise. Good initiative, flexibility, dependability and organizational skills. Strong sense of professionalism. Strong classroom management skills.
