The Intervention and Prevention Specialist assists with the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of programs focused on preventing domestic violence and increasing community awareness. This role oversees psychoeducational group services for HDNBC clients, designed to strengthen life skills, enhance overall functioning, and reduce the risk of future involvement in violent relationships. The Specialist helps ensure that all programming remains effective, compliant with applicable regulations, and aligned with the agency's mission and best practices. In addition, this position assists with HDNBC's youth intervention initiatives, including Pathways to Hope, a diversion program serving at- risk youth, and supports the coordination and engagement of the agency's Youth Advisory Council (YAC). The Intervention and Prevention Specialist also contributes to HDNBC's BIPP program by facilitating a minimum of two BIPP groups, supporting participant accountability and behavior change.
