This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working one-on-one with students, building strong relationships, and supporting learners who may be facing academic, emotional, or behavioral challenges. The Intersect Tutor is an on-call, non-benefited position with flexible but inconsistent hours based on student referrals and tutor availability. Tutors may work with up to three students per day, providing approximately two hours of instruction per student. Schedules are determined by student needs and caseload and do not constitute a full-time position. This role also includes collaboration with UVM Medical Center Children’s Hospital. Referrals for instruction at the hospital are initiated by UVM, with BSD serving as the instructor of record. Tutors may be asked to provide instructional support at the hospital as part of their assigned hours.
