In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) solutions, you'll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions. BAE Systems is seeking a self-motivated and experienced program manager to manage Digital Interrogator (DI) Production and Spares projects. This position has the responsibility for the leadership and management oversight of a project team assuring that project's financials, schedule, and technical objectives are met and that the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved while meeting all contractual commitments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and relevant prior experience on production programs.
  • Strong experience/understanding in the mechanisms of a defense production environment, managing associated tools, and concepts required to support the production environment.
  • Expertise in project management and supply chain & subcontract management.
  • Past performance in successfully leading and managing multi-discipline project teams.
  • Strong presentation and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • US Citizen able to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • 5-10+ years of experience within program management.
  • Expertise in project management, earned value management, risk management, supply chain, and subcontract management.
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience in new business capture.
  • Knowledge of the defense aerospace market and experience working with US Navy program offices.
  • Experience in business case development, analysis, and presentation.
  • Active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and management oversight for the DI Production team, assuring the team's Program Area and Product Line objectives are met, and the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved.
  • Responsible and accountable to the Program Area and Product Line Management for program execution, profitability, timeliness, and overall success.
  • Make timely decisions that are cost effective to the company and ensures assigned projects meet financial commitments for orders, sales, profit, and cash.
  • Accountable for all aspects of assigned program's execution (cost, schedule, technical performance, quality, risk management, and customer engagement) throughout all the Life Cycle Management (LCM) phases.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact between BAE Systems and the customer program office, suppliers, and key customer stakeholders.
  • Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills while interfacing with program team members, company personnel, suppliers, and customers.
