LSS of South Dakota is seeking dedicated and skilled interpreters/translators fluent in Spanish and/or Haitian Creole to provide essential communication services to non-English speakers in the Yankton area. This part-time, on-call position offers the opportunity to engage in meaningful work that directly impacts the lives of individuals seeking medical, legal, and community services. The role requires interpreters to provide professional verbal and written interpretation services in person, ensuring that clients can access the support they need without language barriers. The work schedule is flexible, with appointments typically starting at 7:30 am, 8 am, or 3 pm, and may include emergency calls outside of these hours. Candidates must reside near Yankton to be eligible for this position, as services are provided throughout the Tri-State area.
