About The Position
Under general supervision of assigned District administrator, uses technical skills to clearly and accurately interpret a variety of complex oral communication to the target language. May also perform complex translations clearly and accurately from a variety of written source documents to the target language. Performs a wide variety of complex clerical/technical tasks as assigned. The Fullerton School District is seeking qualified individuals to fill Interpreter/Translator (Spanish) positions to interpret and translate a variety of technical and complex oral and written professional level communications between Spanish and English. This opportunity is a 10.42 month/year position with paid holidays, sick leave and vacation. The District offers a comprehensive pro rated benefits package of health, dental, vision and life insurance for employees who are scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week. Individuals must be available to work Monday-Friday during school hours, generally between 7:30am to 4:30pm. Hours may vary depending on the Department's need. The anticipated vacancies range between 20 and 40 hours per week.
