The INTERPOL Data Protection Officer (IDPO) is responsible for ensuring good governance and accountability regarding data processing for both police and administrative purposes within INTERPOL. The IDPO will lead the Data Protection Office (DPO) and will act independently, reporting directly to the Secretary General. The role includes monitoring compliance with data protection laws, providing advice on data processing operations, liaising with various stakeholders, conducting training, and managing the DPO team. The position is based in Lyon, France, and is a fixed-term contract for five years, renewable once.
