Leidos is seeking an experienced Interoperability Test Engineer to support the ACCA5JI JINTACCS mission at the Langley, VA customer office. The successful candidate will certify Tactical Data Link (TDL) systems for compatibility and standards conformance before they enter Joint Interoperability testing. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring TDL systems meet MIL-STD requirements to enable seamless interoperability with other platforms. Your Impact Serve as a primary technical resource in all phases of Air Force multi-TDL testing and the Joint interoperability testing and certification process. Ensure systems meet applicable MIL-STD requirements, providing subject matter expertise on multi-TDL standards including US MIL-STD 3011, 6011, 6016, 6017, 6020, 6040, 188-220, and 2045-47001. Facilitate the certification process by coordinating test scheduling, tracking progress, and preparing necessary documentation like RFCIs, Waiver Requests, and Certification Letters. Provide TDL expertise during Technical Interchange Meetings, Integrated Test Teams, and Design Reviews to advise USAF program offices. Collaborate with System Program Offices (SPOs) and review test-related documentation, including test plans, procedures, and test configuration drawings. Support Joint test planning, participate in relevant panels (TAG, ISG, JARP), and contribute to the development of Interim Certificates to Operate (ICTOs). Observe certification tests, document problems, and perform data analysis to determine the operational impact of identified issues. Develop technical papers, presentations, and other materials to support government stakeholders. Advise on the development and integration of TDL products across Air Force C2 and non-C2 platforms, supporting integration with Joint and Allied forces.
