The intern may choose to further probe areas related to their college major, but they will also be afforded the opportunity to explore other unfamiliar areas. The educational objectives for the intern are as follows:1. To increase exposure to and encourage exploration of career opportunities in senior services and long-term care.2. To independently manage a project(s) of benefit to both the intern and Dunwoody Village.3. To share skills, expertise, and knowledge with Dunwoody Village, resulting in an improvement(s) in process, policy, operations, or management.4. To increase understanding of topics learned in higher education including but not limited to health care administration, technology, dining services, finance, strategic planning, operations, and management.
