A Day in The Life: The Supply Chain Intern will support the Rogers, AR Operations team in ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, inventory management, and process improvement initiatives and will work closely with cross-functional teams to learn best practices in supply chain and customer operations. This position requires an individual who has the ability to multi-task, be organized, work in a fast-paced environment and who can seamlessly transition to the day-to-day demands and changes of the supply chain functions. The Impact You'll Make: Assist with order processing and tracking to ensure timely delivery to customers. Support inventory management activities, including stock level monitoring and reporting. Help coordinate logistics activities such as shipment scheduling and carrier communication. Review and validate shipping documents for accuracy and compliance. Assist in analyzing supply chain data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Participate in customer operations activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational workflows. Prepare and maintain reports on order status, delivery performance, and customer feedback. Support process improvement projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and reducing costs. Learn and utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and reporting tools for operational tasks.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite
- Interest in supply chain logistics
