Internship Summer, Electrical Engineer - Power System Testing and Diagnostics
About The Position
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Attend training sessions on OMICRON testing solutions and learn on various applications Assist Application Engineers with projects on Testing Solutions for Power System Protection, Automation and Control Get trained on Power System Protection Scheme Concepts and Testing Requirements Create and modify Test Plans for commissioning and maintenance testing of relays Get trained on offline electrical testing and diagnostics of power transformers, instrument transformers, and switchgear and learn to operate OMICRON test equipment under supervision of engineer Assist the Technical Support Engineering team Help create Application Notes and perform other duties as assigned OMICRON distinguishes itself by: Not just offering a position, but an opportunity for growth and development in an international multicultural company. Requirements
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Completion of second year as an Electrical Engineer major from an accredited school or university
- Positive attitude toward learning and training
- Studying towards a Bachelor's degree from an accredited school or university.
- Must have completion of second year as an Electrical Engineer major.
Responsibilities
