About The Position

Our Dassault Systemes Product Management team is excited to announce we have a hybrid internship opportunity available in our Waltham, MA office! The Product Management team at SOLIDWORKS supports developing and enhancing 2D CAD solutions in the AEC industry. The intern will assist in gathering market research, analyzing customer feedback, and contributing to product development. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Engineering, Sales, and Marketing, to ensure the product meets user needs and market demands.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business.
• Strong interest in product management and the software industry, particularly in the CAD domain.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, DraftSight, SW, CATIA) is a plus.
• Experience with user research methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research market trends, user needs, and competitive offerings in the 2D CAD space.
• Analyze competitor products and identify key differentiators and opportunities for our software.
• Assist in gathering and analyzing user feedback from various sources (e.g., surveys, user interviews, support tickets).
• Identify key pain points and opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of product documentation, including user stories, feature specifications, and competitive analysis reports.
• Translate user needs and market trends into actionable product requirements.
• Help define and prioritize features for future releases.
• Participate in software testing to ensure quality and identify potential bugs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Technical Sales, Marketing, Technical Support, and R&D, to ensure alignment on product vision and strategy.
• Contribute to other product-related projects as assigned, including analyzing usage data, creating presentations, or assisting with product demos (Camtasia).
