About The Position

The Software QA Engineer (Intern) will play a crucial role in supporting the core simulator software development at Dassault Systèmes. This internship focuses on ensuring the quality of software products through various testing methodologies and collaboration with multiple teams. The position is designed for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in software quality assurance within a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Comfortable in a UNIX/Linux and Windows environment.
• Ability to program in Python and UNIX shell scripting.
• Good English written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter who works well independently on assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support core simulator software development by ensuring product quality.
• Interact with Development, Physics R&D, and Application Management teams.
• Run and analyze the regression suite on various supported platforms.
• Evaluate product functionality and create Test Plans.
• Conduct manual GUI testing and convert them into automated tests.
• Execute Test Plans and incorporate them into the regression suite.
• Analyze areas of low coverage and enhance the testing suite to cover them.
• Document all tests and procedures.
