About The Position

The AI Internship is an incredible opportunity to put your skills to the test and apply your theoretical knowledge in a real-life business environment. At VSP Vision, we're on a mission to help people see every possibility—and we do that through our strategic business pillars that work together to connect nearly 90 million patients and their health data to network doctors in a variety of settings across the globe. You'll join the Enterprise Architecture team responsible for VSP's overall Technology direction. As the AI Intern, you'll have the unique opportunity to partner with VSP Technology experts and support a dynamic team across its primary functions. You’ll have the unique opportunity to gain a broad range of experience in the many elements that contribute to the daily operations of a multi-faceted enterprise and develop critical business competencies through various tasks. During this internship, you may assist with the following duties: The intern will assist VSP AI efforts by curating a data training set. The work will consist of editing the training data file, running the training jobs, and evaluating the results. Programming with the LLM to automate curation. Documenting results. Using the evaluation results to guide further curation practices: Basic Prompt Engineering Programming with the LLM to automate curation Interacting with the LLM to evaluate results

Requirements

• Facilities to work remotely, including private or semi-private workspace
• Access to high-speed internet
• Technology will be provided
• 3rd year/4th year
• Computer Science
• June 1st to Aug 7th (You must be able to work the full 10 weeks)
