About The Position

The Grand Geneva Resort & Spa is offering Summer and Winter Internship Programs for Hospitality, Tourism, and Food Management majors. This internship provides hands-on experience across various operational areas of the resort, including Front Office, Retail, Restaurants, Banquets, Culinary, Golf, Landscaping, Spa & Fitness Center, and Timber Ridge Lodge. Interns will receive training and mentorship from experienced managers, helping them develop their professional skills in a supportive environment.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Hospitality, Tourism, or Food Management program
  • Ability to work approximately 32-40 hours a week
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of hospitality operations

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a hospitality setting
  • Leadership experience in school or community organizations
  • Interest in pursuing a career in hospitality management

Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily operations of assigned department
  • Participate in training sessions including Grand Geneva New Associate Orientation and Commitment to Excellence Training
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests
  • Work collaboratively with team members to create a positive guest experience
  • Complete assigned tasks and projects as directed by department managers
