About The Position

Archer Western, a member of The Walsh Group, is seeking interns for its Mid-Atlantic Region. This internship program is designed to prepare students for leadership roles in project engineering and field management, providing hands-on experience across various operational divisions. Interns will be matched with positions that align with their academic and career goals, allowing them to gain valuable insights into the construction industry and set a solid foundation for their future careers.

Requirements

• Seeking a bachelor's degree is preferred
• The ability to work a 12-week work schedule is preferred
• Specific roles may require relocation

Responsibilities

• Assisting project manager or field supervision staff with project coordination
• Writing RFIs, submittals, and assisting in change orders
• Soliciting bidders and coordinating subcontractor activity
• Scheduling of various contracts and materials
• Document control
• Safety management
• Quantity take-offs
• Participation in team meetings
• Progress photo documentation
