The Engineering and Technology Internship Program focuses on the development of power electronics technology platforms and common hardware building blocks to create innovative solutions. Over the course of this 12-week paid internship, students will engage in projects that hold tangible significance for our business while receiving guidance and mentorship from Eaton's esteemed leaders.

Requirements

  • Actively enrolled or received a master's degree in electrical or electronics engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Must be geographically flexible to relocate within the United States.
  • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry experience in Power Electronics including controls.
  • Prior internship or co-op experience in Power Electronics Hardware/Control Design, and/or Power conversion.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or community.
  • Demonstrated exposure to machine learning or AI concepts through coursework, internships, research, or personal projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support product engineering projects driving the next wave of innovation for Eaton's products.
  • Engage in projects that hold tangible significance for the business.
  • Participate in the Intern Core Learning Series.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders through networking opportunities.
  • Present success stories to leaders of the organization at the end of the internship.
