About The Position

ASML US brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers-the world’s leading chipmakers-to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon. Your Assignment: As a Process Engineering Intern for the Optics Polishing / CNC Milling, you will expect to perform a variety of engineering tasks including designing, developing and testing solutions; analyzing data; and troubleshooting production problems. You will also participate on projects to continuously improve processes that support optical manufacturing. Contribute to the optimization of production the Optics Polishing / CNC Milling. Design experiments focused on identifying root cause of existing production problems. Perform statistical analysis of process data in addition to any experimental data used for troubleshooting. Investigate deficiencies within production processes, with the intended focus of improving process controls. Draft robust production procedures, documenting manufacturable processes in the form of a work instruction.
