The Process Engineer Intern will provide support to the Process Engineering team through the application of core analysis & engineering techniques, including process flow design & mapping, productivity measures & time studies, data collection, and computational.

  • Define manufacturing process issues, collect data, analyze facts, implement solutions and review as needed
  • Create, update, and maintain concise and understandable documentation including but not limited to work instructions, reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Support the coordination and development of process engineering and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to manufacture products.
  • Work on analysis of production problems, root cause, effective and successful implementation of the solution.
  • Provide presentation to management on projects as needed.
  • All other duties or projects as assigned.
  • The qualified candidate will be working towards a bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Ability to solve problems, proactive learner, and address problems in a timely manner
  • Take initiative to lead projects with minimal supervision and provide guidance to manufacturing on project implementation
  • Demonstrated ability to research, review and analyze and interpret scientific and technical documents, blueprints, from various sources.
  • Display organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate concisely, clearly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as PowerPoint and Word, and related computer skills with intermediate to advanced proficiency with Excel.
  • JD Edwards knowledge.
