The New Products Introduction (NPI) team performs the critical function of transferring technology, information, knowledge and procedures from The Engineering Department’s New Products Programs to the Worldwide Service Organization (WSO) and to the Manufacturing Site Operations Organizations. This is the key enabler for the successful introduction, acceptance and reliable performance of any New Product at Direct Customer and End User sites. This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology. Your assignment: The primary project of the Operational Efficiency/NPI intern will be Deep Ultraviolet (DUV) laser serviceability improvement by optimizing work process, systems, and human & material resource using qualitative and quantitative skills. Develop, evaluate, and improve organization/system/equipment/process optimization methods for WW Operations and Customer Support organization. Analyze production/service schedules, engineering/technical specifications, process flows, and other information to improve methods and activities in manufacturing and services. Develop efficiency improvement project including engineer/technical utilization, Work Measurement (Labor Standardization), Synchronize Preventative Maintenance (SPM), Process Automation, etc. Contribute to the development and improvement of data integration and development processes.
