About The Position

Your Assignment: The major task of the role is to use existing tool to generate a library of rigorously simulated (FDTD) images for machine learning modeling. He or she will get familiar with optical models and explore methods for improvement. Get familiar with the automation tool, analyze the results. Participate the discussion of improvement of Tachyon product. Further improve the automation tool and add more functionality to meet the need of data analysis. Other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in electrical engineering, physics, chemical engineering, IC manufacturing or process technology related field
  • Script level programming skills – intermediate to advance level of experience / knowledge using Python.
  • Experience or knowledge conducting data analysis and gathering data for reports.
  • Basic statistic knowledge required.
  • Can observe and respond to people and situations and interact with others encountered in the course of work.
  • Can learn and apply new information or skills.
  • Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of rigorous optical / electrical magnetic wave simulation (FDTD - finite difference time domain or RCWA – Rigorous Coupled Wave Analysis) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of machine learning is a plus.
