METER ENGINEERING INTERNSHIP activities may include, but are not limited to, the following proposed projects: Assist engineering staff in designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting high accuracy energy measurement systems. Specific tasks may include engineering work related to; communication systems, NIST traceable accuracy testing, department standards development, and management of advanced metering infrastructure software and data.

Requirements

Must currently be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2028.
Preference for Electrical discipline.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license as occasional travel may be required.
Candidates may be subject to assessment of skills, job match, or aptitude.
